LET’S GO BACK TO THE MOVIES. ROSSEN REPORTS DOT COM. HOPE IT HELPS. BACK TO YOU NOW. METEOROLOGIST MATT HOENIG WITH YOUR STORMWATCH 9 FORECAST IT COULD BE A GOOD WEEKEND TO VISIT THE MOVIE THEATERS WITH SOME STEADY RAIN CONTINUING ACROSS MUCH OF THE GRANITE STATE THIS MORNING. IT IS AN IMPACT WEATHER DAY, NOT SO MUCH FOR THE RAIN THIS TIME AROUND, BUT MORE SO FOR THE GUSTY WINDS. THE PICK UP BEHIND THIS SYSTEM WITH SOME GUSTS UP OVER 30MPH. THIS IS WHERE WE HAVE SOME RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW FLAKES THIS MORNING, MAINLY THROUGH SOME OF THE HIGHER SUMMITS OF THE WHITE MOUNTAINS. GOOD IDEA TO HAVE THE WINTER GEAR READY TO GO TODAY IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON HIKING IN THE WHITES THIS AFTERNOON, IT IS GOING TO BE COLD AND WET AND POTENTIALLY WINTRY DEPENDING ON HOW HIGH UP YOU’LL BE CLIMBING. SOME SHOWERS THIS MORNING FROM FREEDOM AND EFFINGHAM RIGHT UP INTO CONWAY AND GLENN. RIGHT NOW, MORE STEADY LIGHT RAIN UP ACROSS FAR NORTHERN PARTS OF THE STATE INTO NICHOLAS COUNTY. AND YEAH, YOU SEE THE BLUES HERE INDICATING THAT HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW MAINLY ABOVE 4000FT. IF ANYTHING, I THINK THE SNOW LEVELS COME DOWN A LITTLE BIT AS TEMPERATURES CONTINUE TO DROP THIS AFTERNOON. SO KEEP IN MIND, IT’S NOT JUST LIMITED TO 4000 FOOTERS WHERE WE HAVE SNOWFLAKES FALLING TODAY. IT’LL PROBABLY DROP DOWN TO ABOUT 3000FT THIS AFTERNOON. THIS SYSTEM FINALLY PULLING AWAY, BRINGING THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WITH IT TO OUR EAST, BUT STILL SOME LINGERING SHOWERS. AND OF COURSE, THE WIND’S PICKING UP BEHIND THIS SYSTEM. MEDIUM CHANCE OF RAIN MAINLY ACROSS NORTHERN ZONES TODAY. JUST A LOW RISK OF A PASSING SHOWER TOMORROW. OTHERWISE THINGS WILL START TO IMPROVE. HEADING INTO THE WORKWEEK. FOUR DAYS NORTH, LOWER 50S SOUTH TODAY. BUT WITH THE WIND, IT’S GOING TO FEEL EVEN COLDER AS THOSE WINDS WILL TIMES TODAY WILL GUST OVER 30MPH. NOW, LATER ON TONIGHT, WE’RE LOOKING AT READINGS BACK IN THE 30S UP NORTH, LOWER 40S SOUTH. A LOT OF CLOUDS OUT THERE AND STILL A FEW LINGERING EVENING SHOWERS. TOMORROW, THE BEST CHANCE OF A SHOWER IS UP NORTH WHERE CLOUDS ARE GOING TO KEEP OUR TEMPERATURES THERE. STILL IN THE UPPER 40S A COOLER LATE OCTOBER DAY IN STORE FOR MONDAY, MID AND UPPER 50S FARTHER SOUTH WITH MORE SUNSHINE. SO THAT’LL BE ONE BIG CHANGE. YOU’LL NOTICE TO START THE WORKWEEK, IT WILL STILL BE A BIT ON THE BREEZY SIDE COME TUESDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES UP AROUND 60 AND A BIT OF A CHANGE TO THE FORECAST HERE FOR MIDWAY MIDWEEK. IN A GOOD WAY, HIGHS SHOULD ECLIPSE 70 STARTING WEDNESDAY. THAT’LL TAKE US THROUGH LATE WEEK. LOOKS WARM IN THE EXTENDED FORECAST WITH MORE SUNSHINE AND THERE WILL BE SOME WEATHER SYSTEMS OFF TO OUR WEST THAT JUST COULD THROW SOME CLOUDS IN OUR DIRECTION. BUT WE STAY DRY THROUGH FRIDAY. THE TRADE OFF IS THAT OU
